Mail

There is no limit to how many messages you can send or receive in your mail box. Messages that you have not seen before will be displayed at the top of the page. Messages that you have read or replied to will be displayed at the bottom of the page.

To the left hand side of the page you'll see your address book. Basic members are limited to five spots in their address book and upgraded members can have ten. Your address book lets you add spots for members that you mail a lot or members that you don't really remember. This will help you when you go to mail people or visit their account.

Below your address book you'll see a mail blocking feature. This will allow you to block members from sending you unwanted mail. Please use this feature before you report a member for sending inappropriate messages. If the problem persists then please contact the game staff.

Question: Where did my mail go? I know I didn't delete it!!

Answer: Your messages automatically delete every thirty days, even if you haven't read them yet. Please write down any information you need instead of keeping them lying around in your mail box.

Judges

How do judges judge my dog?!? Very good question! Below you'll see a breakdown of how a judge determines which dogs to place where.

Favorites

Each judge has a particular breed that they like. Of this breed they also like them in a certain color, gender and pattern. Entering a dog into a show that meets these breed standards is a BIG plus on your dog's score. A dog meeting all of a judges breed standards is almost guaranteed to win.

Preferences

Not only do judges have a favorite breed, they also have standards that they judge each dog to. Some judges stress the importance of a dog's eyes while others like them to have great teeth or weight. Each judge is different. Entering dogs into shows that meet the judge's standards in these areas will increase your dog's possibility of a high placement.

Some judges are extremely hard to please. These judges have standards set to vary. This means that what the judge looks for changes every single time they judge a show. If your dog places high with this type of judge then you know you've found yourself a winner.

Preferred Owner

Each judge has a favorite group of dog that they like. When your dog takes show champion in this group of show there is a chance that you will become the judge's new preferred owner. As a preferred owner your dogs have a higher chance of placing well in a show. When you find a judge that has you as their preferred owner enter their shows as often as you possibly can.

Penalties

As a judge looks over your dog for a show they can take points off your dog's score for faults or other flaws they find to their dislike. Dogs not groomed well enough, with nasty teeth, poor health, aggression or behavior problems, etc. will receive penalties. The worst kind of penalty a dog can receive is a disqualification. This will remove five points from their current point total as well as making it impossible to win money at the show. Dogs that are constantly disqualified should not be shown.

The best way to avoid penalties is to keep your dogs in the best of health!

Question: How come I'm not the judge's favorite owner anymore?

Answer: Just like in real life, judges find new owners that they like better then ones they liked before. If you're no longer the judge's favorite owner don't worry! Keep entering their shows and you may become their favorite once again.

Question: Where did the judge go?

Answer: Judges retire at forty six. Once a judge retires they are no longer available to view in the game.
