Basic Boarder

Males:

  • Axl in Time "Axl" was originally purchased to be one of our base line breeding stock studs. He aged too quickly and we weren't able to find a suitable female in time that would produce quality border collies, so he was retired here and continues to show where his placings tend to be all over the board, but he has a couple reserve champions.
  • Blank Shots "Blank" was purchased for his stellar laid back behavior. Behavior is such a barrier we are trying to overcome in BCs that I was hoping to make him the perfect base line while we try and make improvements. Unfortunately he was right at the age barrier when we purchased him and we never did breed him. He also continues to show, despite low placings.
  • Fishing in the Dark "Fish" was our prize stud - the one we thought would produce outstanding puppies. He was immediately purchased, and we worked quickly to find females that would produce well with him. Sadly by 2 months at the time of purchase so he was obviously retired, and spends his time in the show ring. He has multiple Show Champion wins, and continues to place well.
  • Golden Hour "DK" was bought with high hopes. Sadly his aggressive behavior towards the judge and handler ended his chances of being stud after one litter. We immediately neutered him, and retired him here. Due to his behavior we do limit showing him. He is the sire to Perks to JD.
  • Perks to JD "JD" he is out of Lets Cass It In, by Golden Hour. It was immediate from the beginning that JD didn't have what we were looking for. His height doesn't fill in on his phenotype, and his genetics are low due to too many unknowns. He is a glitch in the game, and we retired him immediately. He does have ideal behavior but we felt he wouldn't bring anything to the table. We neutered him, and continue to show him despite low placings.
  • Drift N Out "Chink" is a crop out from a litter we bred. While genetically he is middle range, his behavior was a spin off and required him to be neautered. He is going to start his show career soon, but until then we are focusing on training with Chink.
  • Blink Gotta Run "Blink" was another dog we had huge hopes for. Genetically we had some minor improvements to make, but her movement, behavior, and and other factors were there. Unfortunately after adopting her we learned she was known to snap, and passed down aggressive behavior to all predicted litters regarldess of the studs behavior. She was spayed and contiues to successfully show.
  • Lets Cass It In "Cassie" showed great promise in the beginning with zero faults, and great qualities. After we took her on we learned that she is aggressive to the judge, and produced aggressive puppies. She was spayed and is starting to show.
  • Lucks Lucky "Lucky" was purchased to start our foundation lines. Unforunately she was right at the end of her breeding age and we decided to let her retire instead. She now shows daily, and has a few Show Champions under her belt.
