Welcome to Hopedogs, home of Mitternacht Kennels. We take pride in our high-quality Dobermans as both show dogs and sporting dogs. Once trainers are complete, dogs retired from show will be trained for competition in agility.

Sale Polices

I am a semi-private breeder. I will sell a pup to you IF and only IF I approve of you through my secret ways. This may change, but I doubt it with as many people there are breeding dogs for the heck of it.

If I sell you a pup, then find it in the shelter for anything other than a reasonable excuse, you will be banned from buying a pup from me in the next 30 days. If this happens more than three times, you will be completely banned.

Return Policies

I will buy back any dog or pup that I have sold you, for no more than the amount you paid me. Yes, I do actually keep track of this, so be careful...

Shelter Policies

If I find a dog in the shelter, it is fair game. I will probably(unless it has a tag) put my tag in saying it belongs to my kennel, and will change its name. You will probably get your dog back if you are polite. I will also be willing to negotiate shared ownership agreements.

Stud Arrangements

All of my males are available for stud! Please send me a message if you are interested, otherwise your request will probably not be seen.

• Sometime late March, 2012: I finally chose a German name. Mitternacht=Midnight
• Sometime mid April: Right now I'm kind of taking an axe to my lines, so no pups will be availible to the public (not that anybody is lined up waiting for them)
• May 5th: New layout by Elite, I've always wanted a nice layout and now I have one!
• May 30th: Started Komondors on lightningstrike
• June 6th: Komondors moved to Mitternacht
• June 29th: Returned to salvage line, revised our tail standard
• July 13th: Revised Nose standard, re-re-salvaged line
• July 30th: Re-re-re salvaged line, for hopefully the last time, and began plans for expansion
• August 2nd: Am really bored, so I'm creating news. lol

• September 19th: I officially lost my glgl eye gene in reds. Booo. Now, how the heck do I get that back without destroying the rest of my line?
• September 21st: Yay! I have a Gl eye dog that meets my other standards!
• September 22d: I'm going to start breeding White dobies for a reason I'm choosing not to share. All pups will be altered except for my breeding stock. No.
• October 31st: Happy Halloween! Sorry guys, no reds until Saturday. I'll breed all my red bitches though, so there's some for all!
• ...May 5th, 2013: Wow. My lines are dead. Thank goodness Wolfie kept up her Dobes, or I'd be back to square one! Some of my lines are being boosted by BCs, though.
